   ~ create positive change

~ express and heal in the midst            of challenge

I love working alongside children, parents, and educators to form a supportive team for young people, and strive to provide parents, kids, and educators relief from worry;  you’re not alone...

I have worked with kids and families for over 16 years in a variety of settings; including social work, theft offender counseling, behavioral support programs, after school programs, crisis response, trauma intervention, grief counseling, and most recently 12 years as an Elementary School Counselor in the Portland area.  I hold a Master's degree in Counseling from Portland State University and am a licensed school counselor in the state of Oregon.  I live in Portland with my husband of 20 years, our kitty Pearl, and our daughter when she's home visiting from college.
